Afternoon scenic & historic guided tours

Delegates are offered the option to embark on one of two afternoon tours in exploration of Amiens.

The WWI tour offers an insightful driving expedition, during which delegates visit historical sites of Australian involvement during the 1916 Battle of the Somme.

Evans has dedicated many years recovering the Australian perspective of the battles, and knows the region well. Delegates drive in convoy, with stops along the route for site commentaries.

Delegates set out for The Australian Memorial, Pozières and Mouquet Farm, and Villers-Bretonneux.

Amiens Walking Tour | Eva Lee-Gabriel

Delegates embark on a light stroll around the quiet Amiens township, enjoying morning tea and taking in the serene, historic atmosphere.

Lead by Eva Lee-Gabriel, delegates visit La Maison de Jules Verne, Museum de Picardie, and Amiens Cathedral.
