About Us

Windeyer Chambers was named after High Court Justice Sir Victor Windeyer. The Barristers’ Floors were established in 1984 and are part of Counsels Chambers Limited.

8th Floor Windeyer Chambers consists of well established Barristers that specialise in a number of practise areas many of whom are senior juniors at the New South Wales Bar.

The Floor is situated in the same building as the New South Wales Land & Environment Court and close to the Supreme Court of New South Wales. The Floor accepts Briefs in Trial and Appellate matters and Floor Members have expertise in Bankruptcy, Insolvency, Debt Recovery, Building & Construction, Commercial, Criminal, Equity, Family Provisions, Insurance, Environmental Law, Liquor Licensing, Property, Wills & Probate.
